Top Quality Steak Restaurant with awesome view over Bangkok

RR&B Steakhouse (Rib Room and Bar) is an awesome, fine-dining steak restaurant located on Level 31 (top floor) of the fancy Landmark Bangkok Hotel. As well as an awesome steakhouse, this restaurant has a fantastic view over the Bangkok skyline, a perfect backdrop for an excellent meal. Cheap Charlies look away! Nothing for you to see here – steaks start at 1400++ Thb (around US$38 or A$60++).

All around the restaurant are large windows to show off the excellent views. Most of the view is towards the JW Marriott Hotel next door, in the lower Sukhumvit area.

I dined with a friend, and service started with a complimentary appetizer, which was a small but tasty fish cake and a basket of complimentary, freshly baked bread which was delicious.

We had ordered a Caesar Salad and this came with a little bit of a show, with a girl turning up to our table with a trolley and preparing the salad at our table. There was not much to see as she combined the ingredients into a huge bowl but was nice entertainment.

After our salad, they brought out another complimentary dish, a lemon sorbet which was to cleane our palate before the main event.

For main I had the very delicious 300g Sirloin – Australian Premium Grass Fed Beef with a marble score of 4+. This steak was 1600 Thb++.. With the steak I had a side dish of mash potato which was smooth and creamy.

My friend had the pan fried Habridean Smoke Salmon fideua which is a one pan dish, with all the ingredients cooked together. This included some other seafood including prawns.

By this stage we were full so did not order any dessert but with the bill they brought out this very nice plate of chocolates to munch on as I settled the bill.

This is a top notch restaurant, in the heart of the lower Sukhumvit area. Prices are international prices, so very expensive for Bangkok standards but very good service and top quality food. I would recommend a visit here if you looking for a great night out eating steak! The hotel/restaurant is only a few minutes walk from Nana BTS Station.
