Tenkaippin Ramen Restaurant Nishi-Shinjuku Tokyo
Tenkaippen is a famous chain of ramen restaurants all over Tokyo Japan and there is a great Tenkaippin restaurant in Nishi-Shinjuku on the western side of Shinjuku Train Station. Tenkaippin started in Kyoto and now have over 230 restaurants all over Japan.
Just a few minutes walk from Shinjuku Train Station, Tenkaippin Restaurant is open 7 days a week from 10.30am to 3am the next morning.
They are famous as they serve up a very special, rich and thick broth made from slow cooking chicken and vegetables. The soup at Tenkaippin is the thickest soup of any ramen I have eaten.
At Tenkaippin you can get a good bowl of ramen noodle soup for as low as 600 Yen.
Tenkaippin is open very late at night, every night the restaurant closes at 3am, so this is the perfect place to stop for a big bowl of ramen after a big night of drinking. Stop in on the way back to hotel after a gut full of ice cold Asahi beer.
