Tasty Thai Food in the Heart of Cairns City Centre

Mai Sai Pak Chee Thai Restaurant is a great Thai restaurant located in the heart of Cairns City Centre on Lake Street. Serving up a good range of traditional Thai food for both lunch and dinner.

Mai Sai Pak Chee means ‘Do Not Put Coriander’ in the Thai language. While I am a big fan of coriander, I still found the food at Mai Sai Pak Chee to be authentic Thai food, full of flavour.

They have some inexpensive lunch specials ($12.90) including the dish I chose, the Chicken Basil with rice with a fried egg. Also on the lunch special menu is Chicken Laksa Noodle Soup, Chicken Nasi Goreng, Tom Yum Kai, Tom Kha Gai Soup, Garlic Pork, Chicken Thai Fried Rice, Stir Fried Vegetables.
