Regency Club Lounge at Hyatt Regency Yokohama Hotel
The Regency Club Lounge is located on Level 3 of the Hyatt Regency Yokohama Hotel. This is a very nice club lounge! Actually the Hyatt Regency Yokohama Hotel is an excellent hotel. I really enjoyed my stay here. It is a great location, very luxurious interior and I very much enjoyed my time visiting the Regency Club Lounge.
You can get access to the Regency Club Lounge by booking a room which is marked with Club Access. You do pay extra per night for the access (around 7800 Yen per night) but with this extra charge, you get a full breakfast meal and evening canapes and drinks. If there are 2 of you staying in the room, this means you are paying 3900Y Per person for breakfast and evening canapes/drinks. You can easily get your money’s worth! You also get access to the Club Lounge if you are a Hyatt Globalist Member (this means you spent 60 nights in 1 year staying at Hyatt Hotels).
The Regency Club Lounge is made up of 2 large rooms. One is like a lounge area with comfy chairs and large TV screen. In this room are the club staff were you can check in or out. The other room is the dining area where you can enjoy the breakfast meal and evening canapes. Throughout the day you can visit the Club Lounge and enjoy tea / coffee, cold drinks and snacks.
Breakfast in the Regency Club Lounge Yokohama
Breakfast is served in the Regency Club Lounge from 7am – 10am, this will be most weekends and weekdays when the hotel is close to capacity. When the hotel is not busy, then you will be able to enjoy the buffet breakfast at the Harbour Kitchen on the 2nd floor of the hotel.
There are so many breakfast foods available within the Club Lounge. A variety of cereals, cold cut meats and cheeses, freshly baked breads and pastries, hot food including bacon, sausages, scambled eggs, grilled mushrooms and tomato and ofcourse excellent coffee and tea.
Evening Canapes in the Regency Club Lounge Yokohama
Evening Canapes are served from 5pm – 7pm
This the main event! The breakfast is very good but the evening canapes is exceptional. There are so many different types of canapes available that you can make a full meal out of it. Everything from various dips, cold cut meats, a few hot dishes and usually some sort of seafood.
When I was there, 1 night they had muscles in white wine which were excellent.
There are free self pour drinks including white wine, red wine and champagne, a range of beers and an excellent selection of top shelf spirits.
Evening Sweets in the Regency Club Lounge Yokohama
From 7pm – 8pm they serve evening sweets. I waited around for this 1 night but didn’t find it worth the while. During the canapes service, they do serve sweets like cakes and slices. The evening sweets they just brought out a small selection of lollies like M&Ms. As there were quite a few people waiting, these disappeared very quickly.
Overall I can highly recommend a stay at the Hyatt Regency Yokohama Hotel. This is one of the best Hyatt Regency Hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The Club Lounge is a very nice area to relax and enjoy the breakfast and evening canapes.
