Nightlife in Hua Hin

For a small beach-side town, Hua Hin is not known for its nightlife but there is some nightlife there, this is Thailand afterall. There are 3 main nightlife areas of Hua Hin, with loads of beer bars selling cold beer, with loud music, cheap food and loads of bar girls.

The average price for a beer in Hua Hin’s nightlife area is around 90 Baht which is much cheaper than what you would pay for a beer in any of the nightlife areas of Bangkok. The 3 main nightlife areas of Hua Hin are:

Soi Bintabaht

Soi Bintabaht is the largest nightlife area of Hua Hin, with around 60 beers bars / sports bars/ nightclubs around a small block with Soi Bintabaht as the main Walking Street. Soi Bintabaht is located right in the heart of tourist central of Hua Hin, next to the Hilton Hotel, about 10 minutes walk from Hua Hin Train Station.

The one main nightclub (it is small) is called The Panama Club, located on one of the side streets off Soi Bintabaht, not far from Woody’s Sports Bar which is a great Aussie owned bar with 4 large TV screens showing any sport you would like to watch. Obviously they show all the Aussie sports like AFL, NRL, Cricket but if it’s on TV you can watch it. You can get a beer in Woody’s for 90 baht.

There are a number of hotels to stay within walking distance from Soi Bintabaht. If Hilton is out of your price range (around 6000 Baht per night) then check out Fresh Hotel directly opposite the Hilton or City Beach Resort Hotel just a block away.

Soi 80 Walking Street

Soi 80 Walking Street is located directly opposite the new Hua Hin Train Station. Soi 80 is around 400 meters long and is pretty much lined with beer bars, restaurants and massage shops. Soi 80 is very popular with the expat community during the afternoon for some day drinking sessions.

Wonderland Beer Bar Complex

Wonderland is a beer bar complex located on Soi 94, around 15 minutes walk from Soi 80. There are only around 40 beer bars in Wonderland, each only seating maybe 6 – 10 customers. All have bar girls.

From Hua Hin Town Centre, you could walk to Wonderland in about 20 minutes or a Tuk-Tuk will cost around 100 Baht to get there, maybe 50 baht if you can bargain well.
