Ma Bangrak Bangkok Street Food Market
Ma! Bang Rak Bazaar Bangkok Street Food Market, is a small open air market located in Bang Rak Bangkok, just down from the end of Silom Road. Located right next to the Robinson Mall on Soi Charoen Krung, the markets are open from 11am – Midnight everyday. The majority of stalls are selling cheap Thai street food from noodles soups, Thai stir-fries, curries, rice and noodle dishes, Thai fried snacks and desserts.In the evenings there are usually around 30 – 40 stalls selling street food, not so much during the day. There are also some other stalls selling a range of items like clothing, arts and crafts and gift items. The closest BTS Station is Saphan Taksin (next to Sathorn Pier) which is around 8 minute walk to the market.
The opening hours of Ma Bangrak Food Market is 11am – midnight, but this is mostly a night time market. During the morning and early afternoon, there are only a few food stalls. Things liven up in the later afternoon when not only more food vendors setup, but right down the middle of the market are stalls selling other items like clothing, jewerly, tourist gift items.
Right at the rear of the market on the right hand side, there is an entrance into Robinson Mall’s food court which has 30 different food stalls and plenty of seating in a bright, clean area. This is the Ma! Bangrak Food Court.
Hotels walking distance to the Ma! Bangrak Bangkok Street Food market include the Shangri-La (4 minutes walk), Hilton Garden Inn (8 minutes walk) on Silom Road and Hoilday Inn Silom (9 minutes walk).
