Jounieh Lebanese Restaurant Dawes Point Sydney

Jounieh Lebanese Restaurant is a hidden gem in Sydney. Located in Dawes Point Sydney, just down from Sydney Harbour Bridge and The Rocks, Jounieh is located on the waterfront, serving up some amazing Lebanese food.

We went in for a team lunch and had one of the best feasts we have had in a very long time! Every dish we had was outstanding. There was nothing anyone at the table did not like. Such amazing food.

We had a real mix of Lebanese dishes including some dips with bread to begin – some Hummus and Baba Gououje.

Then some large plates of food came out with some heirloom beetroot salad, Batagen Falafel and some salt and pepper calamari.

Also some Sambosek came out which I had never had before. These are lamb mince, pine nuts and onion wrapped in a pastry.

Then the main dishes came out with their signature Shawarma which is slow cooked to perfection.

More excellence came out with some very generous chicken skewers and a plate of delicious golden cauliflower. I’m not a fan of cauliflower but I gladly ate this dish!

Well done to the chef at Jounieh. Such an amazing feast, not just to the taste buds but to all the sense, The look and smell of all of these dishes were outstanding.

If you have never tried Jounieh Lebanese Restaurant, then I hihgly recommend you get down there and try their amazing food.
