Welcome Stranger has 5 large plasma TV screens showing a range of sports. There are smaller screens dotted around the venue including some out on the smoking balconies at the front of the venue and 1 out to the side of the gaming lounge. Welcome Stranger shows all the major sporting events including AFL, NRL, EPL, Cricket, Rugby, NBA, NFL, Boxing and plenty more sports.

As well as being a great bar serving a range of local and imported beers, wines and spirits, they have a full service kitchen and serve a great range of pub food including loads of favourites including a full breakfast menu, Fish and Chips, Chicken Schnitzels, Burgers, Meat pies, Gourmet pizzas, Chicken Parmigiana and fresh salads. It was a hard choice when I went in for dinner but I ended up going for a chicken schnity which was a huge a chicken schnitzel as big as my head, served with a side of chips, salad and gravy.

They also have a full café serving up a range of coffees and freshly baked cakes and pastries.

The front balcony looks over Bourke Street which is great for some people watching with the busy pedestrian traffic up and down one of the busiest roads in the Melbourne CBD.

For the punters they have TAB services, Keno and a full gaming lounge with a huge selection of the latest gaming pokie machines.
