Good English Breakfast on Soi 13 Sukhumvit Bangkok

There are a few places where you can get a good English Breakfast on Soi 13 Sukhumvit Bangkok. I was staying at the Hyatt Regency Sukhumvit Hotel and althogh I had breakfast included in my room prices, I often missed out on breakfast, so just walked out the back of the hotel, down Soi 13 for these excellent English Breakfasts:

English Breakfast at the Red Lion British Pub

The Red Lion is an excellent British Pub which serves breakfast from 7.30am Monday to Friday and from 9am Saturday and Sunday until 1pm. They have a good selection of English Breakfasts or an American breakfast with pancakes. Their cheapest breakfast is the Bahtbuster which is only 129 Baht and comes with 2 fried eggs, bacon, pork breakfast sausage, grilled tomato, grill mushrooms, hashbrown, baked beans and a piece of toast with butter and jam, a glass of fruit juice and choice of tea or coffee. A great feed at a very reasonable price.

English Breakfast at Sportsman Sports Bar Soi 13 Sukhumvit

Less than 100 meters down Soi 13 from the Red Lion British Pub is the best sports bar in Bangkok called The Sportsman. As well as showing all the popular International Sports live, they serve up a great range of pub food and Thai food. They have an English Breakfast on their menu which is available all day. For 260 Baht you get 2 fried eggs, 2 slices of bacon, a nice sized pork sausage, grilled tomato, hashbrown, baked beans and 2 slices of thick toast. It comes with a choice of tea or coffee but does not include a glass of juice. I had to pay an extra 99 Baht for a glass of apple juice.

This is a very good quality breakfast meal though I enjoyed the breakfast at Red Lion so much better and so much cheaper. 129 Baht for the breakfast at Red Lion, and 359 Baht for pretty much the same breakfast at The Sportsman.
