Excellent Pizza at Otto Pizza Soi 8 Nana Bangkok
Otto Pizza Bangkok, is a small pizza shop on Soi 8, just a few minutes walk from Nana BTS Skytrain station in Sukhumvit Bangkok. I’ve been on the search for the best pizza on Bangkok and the pizza at Otto’s is up their with the best. It is so hard to find good pizza in Thailand as most the pizza base is a bit ordinary. The pizza at Otto Pizza is light and fluffy, a bit crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
If you walk down Soi 8, you’ll find Otto pizza on the 2nd laneway to the right (also called Soi 8). Otto’s has a proper pizza oven which I think helps with the fluffy pizza base. It looks like a wood fired oven but I think it is just gas heated but still cooks an excellent pizza.
I had the vegetarian pizza which cost 340 Baht (around A$15). It took less than 10 minutes for them to cook the pizza. I didn’t finish the pizza and they gave me a pizza box to take the left overs back to my hotel.
The best pizza I have found so far is at Vesuvio Pizza, which is practicly behind Otto Pizza, on the 1st laneway off Soi 8. Both Otto pizza and Vesuvio Pizza seem to be a carbon copy of each other, with the same pizza ovens. I did prefer the pizza at Vesuvio just a little bit more than Otto but probably cause I had my favourite pizza Diavola Pizza with hot salami and at Otto I had a vegetarian.
