Char Rooftop Bar Bangkok

Char Rooftop Bar is located on the 26th Floor of the trendy Indigo Hotel which is a boutique hotel on Wireless Road in central Bangkok, just a few minutes walk from Phloen Chit BTS Skytrain station. Other hotels within walking distance of Char Rooftop Bar include the Conrad Hotel and Plaza Athénée Bangkok, A Royal Méridien Hotel.

Char Rooftop Bar is one of the smallest rooftop bars in Bangkok but it is one of my favourites. It has a comfy feeling and you get some nice personal service from the staff. It is also surrounded by many of the large skyscrapers in downtown Bangkok so interesting viewing of the Bangkok skyline up close. Down along the glass, along the building edge are some nice lounges for sitting back and enjoy the great cocktails and the fantastic view.

The drinks menu at Char Rooftop Bar has an impressive selection of cocktails. They have all the popular cocktails like Mai Tai, Dry Martini, Manhattan, Margarita and a good Mojito.

The cheapest beer is a draft Singha beer for 150 Baht. Bottled beers include Asahi and Heineken for 160 Baht, Beer Lao Dark for 200 Baht, Corona for 300 Baht, Hoegaarden and Stella Artois for 320 Baht. There is also a good selection of white and red wines and they do some of the wines by the glass.

There is also a snack menu on Level 26 rooftop bar with a range of treats made for sharing. On level 25 is the Char Restaurant which is a contemporary grill restaurant with a great range of good quality steaks and fresh seafood.

Also on the menu is a full page selection of fine cigars ranging from 180 Baht for a Cohiba Mini up to 2290 Baht for a Cohiba Siglo VI.
