The Glenelg Public House at Mermaid Beach

The Glenelg Public House has only been open since 2015 but has quickly become the best steak house restaurant on the Gold Coast. With a great range of Angus, Wagyu beef and free range beef from New Zealand, The Glenelg serves up the best steaks on the Gold Coast and at a very reasonable price. You could have a great meal at The Glenelg for around $50 per person (extra with a few sneaky beers or wines).

We recently had dinner at The Glenelg Public House and this restaurant ticked all the boxes for a great restaurant on the Gold Coast. Great entrees, amazing steaks, classy interior decor and really friendly efficient staff. The price is a big plus as you are getting an awesome meal at a much cheaper price than many other steak restaurants on the Gold Coast!

Mike’s Kitchen at Merrimac

Mike’s Kitchen has been serving up some of the best home cooked meals on the Gold Coast since 1996. Mike’s Kitchen specialises in steaks and flame grilled ribs. The prices are very reasonable and the servings are huge, with all the steaks served with chips and vegetables or a baked potato and vegetables. Mike’s Kitchen at Merrimac is located directly inland from Broadbeach, around 13 minutes drive.

Harry’s Steak Bistro Burleigh Heads

Harry’s is a popular steak restaurant located in the shopping strip along the Gold Coast Hwy at the popular Burleigh Heads. With a choice of good quality steaks like a 230g rump steak ($19.95), 270g scotch fillet steak ($29.95), 250g eye fillet steak ($39.95) and a 350g sirloin steak ($49.95).

Harry’s also serves up a tasty Wagyu beef burger as well as a chicken shnitzel burger. They have a good selection of beers and a very nice selection of wines.

Moo Moo Wine Bar and Grill

Moo Moo Wine Bar and Grill at Broadbeach is one of the best steakhouses on the Gold Coast. A very classy restaurant with high end dining and serving up a great range of steaks. Since opening their doors, Moo Moo’s has won several awards including Queensland’s Best Steak Restaurant 2008 and 2012.

I have dined at Salt Grill a few times and the quality of the food and the service put’s Salt Grill up on the top of not only the best steak restaurants on the Gold Coast but definitely in the top 10 Best Restaurants on the Gold Coast.

Lester and Earl is a great American themed steakhouse serving up a great range of steaks and ribs. The pork or beef ribs are the best on the menu, with the meat slow cooked and falls off the bone. The decor of Lester Earl’s is an American saloon bar. Lester and Earl’s gets really busy on weekends so best to make a reservation.

Located at Robina Town Centre Shopping Mall, Squires Loft is a great family restaurant which serves up great steaks and ribs. Squires Loft is located along the boardwalk, out the front of Robina Town Centre.
