Best Sports Bar in Bangkok – Sportsman Soi 13 Sukhumvit

IMO the Sportsman Sports Bar on Soi 13 Sukhumvit is the best sports bar in Bangkok. This place is huge! With 2 levels, with 26 large TV screens, 8 HD Projectors showing every main stream international sport in the world. Whether you want to watch NBA, Formula 1, UFC, Cricket, NRL, AFL, EPL, NHL, Tennis, Golf or even Synchronized swimming, then the Sportsman will show it. Located on Soi 13 in the busy Sukhumvit tourist area of Bangkok, the bar is just a few minutes walk from the Nana BTS Station.

The Sportsman is open 7 days a week from 7am – 1am. They will open earlier or close later if there is a major sporting event that happens outside of their opening hours.

They have a great food menu with all the classic pub food like burgers, pizza, all day breakfast, pasta and they also got good local Thai food. I went in for their English breakfast and this was a very fine feed. At 260 Baht is is more expensive than other places selling an English breakfast but still this wont break the bank.

They have loads of events throughout the week including Darts competition every Friday, Quiz night Tuesday from 8pm, Comedy every Wednesday night. They also got a load of pool tables, retro video games and electronic dart boards.

There is seating around the bar and also private booths which have their own small TV screen which you can select what sport you want to watch. They also have recordings of past sporting events so if you have missed a match you can use their own demand video service to replay.

They have a few different beers and cider on tap. The tap beer includes Heineken and Asahi. The cheapest beer in the Sportsman is a bottle of local beer like Leo, Chang, Singha, Tiger for 99 Baht. They have happy hour everyday from 7am – 7pm when you can get a pint of Tiger or Heineken for 119 Baht or a pint of Asahi for 129 Baht.
