Best Night Markets in Hua Hin

For a small beach-side town, Hua Hin has a large number of great night markets to visit during your stay. What I have found is the markets in Hua Hin has a better quality product for sale, including loads of local designer clothing. They also have some excellent food at the markets at very cheap prices.

Cicada Weekend Night Market

Located 4.5kms south of the Hua Hin town centre. we rate Cicada as the best night market in Hua Hin. A very decent collection of local artists, clothing designers, arts and crafts and an awesome variety of food, from all your Thai street food, seafood, to pork ribs, pizza, kebabs and the classic Thai roti pancake. They also have live music.

Cicada Night Market is open Thursday. Friday. Saturday and Sunday night, 4pm – 10pm.

Hua Hin Night Market

The Hua Hin Night Market is the largest, located right in the heart of Hua Hin Town Centre, just around the corner from the old historical Hua Hin Train Station. This is more your classic Thai night market with all the rip off brands like ray-ban sunglasses, branded tshirts and handbags. Along the outside of these night markets is lined with restaurants and bars.

These markets used to only be on Dechanuchit Alley but has now expanded out onto the main road, just down from the historial Hua Hin Train Station. At this end it is mostly small food stalls.

Hua Hin Night Markets are open every night, from 6pm – 11pm.

Tamarind Weekend Night Market

The smallest of the markets, open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Tamarind is located just 2 minutes walk from Cicada Market. A very relaxed market with a good selection of food and plenty of seating.

Fishing Pier Weekend Night Market

Fishing Pier Night Market is a cooked food night market, open Friday, Saturday and Sunday night from 4pm – 10pm. Located at the end of the Hua Hin Fishing Pier, located just up from the town centre.
