Best Laksa Noodle Soup in Cairns

I went in for some lunch at the Soy Kitchen Asian Street Food Restaurant at the Cairns Reef Casino and was totally blown away by their Laksa Noodle Soup. This is one of the best laksa noodle soup I have ever eaten, so easy to rank this as the best Laksa Noodle Soup in Cairns City.

Soy Kitchen Asian Street Food Restaurant serves up a range of food from all over Asia. From Chinese, Singaporean, Malaysian, Indonesia and Japanese food. A selection of the most famous streets founds in each of those countries.

When i saw they had laksa on the menu I wasn’t sure they would do this dish justice but I was so pleasantly surprised that the laksa was so good.

The laksa soup was so thick and rich, packed full of complex flavours. The chef takes the time to make the soup broth properly. I’d say this is slow simmered for many, many hours to get the thickness and all the right flavours happening in this broth.

Inside the delicious broth is some awesome, good quality, tender beef, deep fried tofu, boiled egg and topped with some fresh herbs. The noodles are nice and thick. This dish is $17 which seemed a bit expensive but for the quality of the food turned out to be reasonable. This was a big bowl of yummy!
