Best Cantonese Food in Sanur Bali – Naga Eight Chinese Restaurant

Naga Eight is a top quality Chinese restaurant serving traditional Cantonese cuisine, located on the main road of Sanur Beach Bali, just opposite the Andaz Bali Resort. I ate at Naga back in 2008 and returned in April 2022 and they still serving up the best Cantonese food in Sanur. Put this restaurant on your must visit list next time you get to Sanur!

They renovated the restaurant during the 2020-2021 and they got an open kitchen now so you can see in and see all the wok action with the chefs preparing your meal. Just like the classic BBQ restaurants in Hong Kong, they got roast pork and duck hanging in the kitchen window.

On my last visit my friend and I started our meal with some Char Siu roast pork. Sooooooooo GOOD! I saw the roast pork in the window and just had to try it and was so glad I did. You got to try this, as good as you get in the BBQ restaurants in HK!

We also had the pan fried dumplings which were also very tasty with pork inside. You cant have enough pork at a Cantonese restaurant, they sure know how to cook it best.

For mains we had the Mapo Tofu which was just ok. It was a bit spicy which i like. It sure looked good but I guess tofu is only as exciting as the sauce that it is cooked in.

The star of the meal was our last main which was the Braised Beef in Black pepper sauce. This was awesome. The beef was so tender and the sauce was very peppery. Lucky we had loads of Bintang beer to drink after this very peppery dish. Love it!

Cant wait to get back to Sanur and try more dishes off the very extensive menu at Naga Eight! Get in and try this amazing Cantonese / Chinese Restaurant. You will not be disappointed!
