Best Cafe in Cairns – Muddy’s Cafe on Cairns Esplanade Waterfront

Muddy’s Cafe is one of the most popular cafes in Cairns, located on the Esplanade overlooking the waterfront, with a great range of breakfast and lunch/dinner cafe food, great coffee, freshly squeezed juices, friendly staff, making it one of the best cafes in Cairns. This Cafe gets real busy so phone ahead and make a reservation or get in early.

Each time I am in Cairns, I walk along the waterfront and walk past Muddy’s Cafe and it is usually ‘s packed out before 8am for breakfast and by 11.30am for lunch.

I got in early on a Sunday morning, around 7.30am and there were a few tables available but after I sat down thee were people waiting for tables to come free.

I ordered a coffee and the Big Brekky $22.90 which is a massive big breakfast which comes with smoked bacon, fried eggs, hash brown, tomatoes, garlic mushrooms, cheese kransky sausage and toasted ciabatta. This is a huge feed. I am a big eater but I was not able to polish all this off. All very tasty but just got the better of me. Other places would charge $25 or $26 for a feed this big.

I also had some fresh Tropical fruit juice mix $9.50. They have a huge range of mixed fruit juice on the menu. Just see their website, link below.

On their lunch/dinner menu they got a good range of food like burgers, fish and chips, salads, tacos and they have a kids menu too.

Lovely friendly staff, great view over the Cairns waterfront and tasty food at reasonable prices make this the best cafe in Cairns.
