Bella Italia Italian Restaurant Sanur Bali

I was staying at the Mercure Resort in Sanur and found Bella Italia restaurant just a few minutes walk away. A great Italian restaurant with a real Italian owner who takes pride in his great home cooked Italian food including pizza, pasta, steaks and fresh seafood dishes.

I went in for dinner and had some garlic bread and the lasagna. The owner came out to check how my meal was and proudly announced to me that the lasagna was home baked which I could tell. The bolognese sauce in the lasagne was so delicious with loads of flavour!

I had a glass of Chianti with my meal, although not cheap at around 95,000Rp for a glass of Italian wine, it was the perfect wine to drink with my Italian meal. Any imported wine in Bali will be expensive due to the excessive tax the Indonesian government charges for imported alcohol.

Really great staff and service and a must visit for anyone that loves Italian food. A great Italian restaurant in Sanur! I saw other diners eating the pizza which also looked delicious, really thin base with simple toppings.

Bella Italia is located down the southern end of Sanur. Follow Jalan Danau Tamblingan till right down the end where the road bends, keep going straight and the road changes into Jalan Cemara. You will see the sign of Bella Italia down the end close to the intersection.

Bella Italia has free WiFi internet access. They also have shisha and hooka waterpipes for smoking a range of different flavoured shisha including apple, double apple, apple with mint, mango, watermelon, grape, grape with mint, strawberry and strawberry with mint. The price of the shisha is 95,000Rp including the use of the waterpipe.

There is an outdoor seating area, indoor fanned area and also an inside air-conditioned dinning area.
