Awesome Views from Club Lounge at Grand Hyatt Hotel Hong Kong

The Grand Hyatt Hotel Hong Kong is one of the best luxury hotels to stay in Hong Kong. If that is not reason enough to stay at the Grand Hyatt, then the views from the Club Lounge will add to the appeal.

The Club Lounge at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong is located on Level 31 of the hotel. The Grand Club lounge has exceptional views over Victoria Harbour, across to Kowloon. To gain access to the Grand Club Lounge, you will need to book a room with club access.

When booking on the Hyatt website for example, you will see you can book at King Room, Further down the room selections you will see King Room with Club Access. Generally you are going to pay around HK$880 per day more to get the club access. That’s an extra US$112  (A$160 per day). Now what you get for the extra money is not just the great view from the Club Lounge. With access to the Club Lounge comes the full breakfast buffet and evening drinks and canopies (enough for a good meal!). So if there are 2 of you staying in the room, getting breakfast and evening drinks/food, in the room with the best view in the city! That’s a pretty good deal!

Of if you are a Globalist Member of the Hyatt program, then you get free access to the Club Lounge at all Hyatt Hotels that you stay that. But to be a Globalist you need to have stayed 60 nights in a year at Hyatt Hotels.

The buffet breakfast is served in the Grand Club Lounge from 6.30am – 10am weekdays, 10.30am weekends. There are several different buffet tables setup serving a selection of cereals, muffins, breads (with toasters to make toast), fresh fruits and a few hot dishes. There is also a small menu to have some breakfast meals made fresh for you like eggs any style or a nice omelette. There are also good coffee making machines making delicious coffee. I do like a good coffee and can vouch that the coffee at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong Club Lounge is GOOD!

The evening canapes are served between 5.30pm and 7.30pm. That’s a whole 2 hours of drinks and food. No need for dinner! There is a self-service fridge stacked with beers, wines and champagne. There are also a range of self-service spirits with mixers available in the fridge. The tables are lined with a variety of canapes, cold cut meats, pizza slices and salads. Some of the hot dishes available on the nights i visited the Club Lounge included steamed dumplings, sausage rolls, stir fried noodles and deep fried calamari.

Between the hours of when breakfast and the evening canapes are served, you are also welcome into the Club Lounge for tea and coffee with a range of snacks like biscuits. It is a nice quiet area during the day to sit and enjoy the view with a good cup of coffee.
