Awesome Greek Food in Cairns City – Fetta’s Greek Taverna

Fetta’s Greek Taverna is the best restaurant I have been to in Cairns! Such a great feed. Fetta’s has been serving up delicious Greek food since 1975, so almost 50 years in business, they are definitely one of the best restaurants in Cairns.

I went in for dinner with 2 of my friends and we were all so impressed with the delicious food this restaurant serves up. We were greeted out the front of the restaurant by the owner of the restaurant who is a cheerful and friendly fella.

We had a huge feast on loads of delicious Greek food. Starting up with the delicious Hummus ($8) with some home made Pita Bread ($4). Along with this we ordered a Greek salad ($13.50).

The main meals we ordered from the specials board which was written out in chalk on a board on the wall close to our table. We had the char grilled Pork Belly ($28) which came with veges and lemon honey sauce. Just delicious!

We also had the Authentic Mixed Meat Platter ($29.90) which came with Lamb Loin Chops, Chicken Yiros, Beftekia meat balls, Lamb Souvlaki and Lemon Potatoes. A big plate of delicious meat! So good!

Fetta’s Greek Taverna is fully licenced, with a stocked bar in the corner of the restaurant. We polished off quite a few of the awesome Greek Beer called Mythos.

An awesome restaurant in Cairns I highly recommend. You haven’t really visited Cairns until you have dined at Fetta’s! Get in for some awesome home style Greek cooking.
