Awesome Fish and Chips in Cairns at Fishpoint

Located in the heart of Cairns City CBD is an awesome fish and chip shop called Fishpoint. This is your classic ‘chippie’ serving up a selection of different types of fish and cheap meals, fish burgers, fish tacos and other seafood delights. Located on the corner of Abbott and Aplin Street, just a block down from the Esplanade.

I went in to try their Fish and Chips and was very impressed! I love a good fish dinner and this was very very high quality at a reasonable price.

They have a selection of Fish they use for their fish and chips. A choice of ‘Fish of the Day’ ‘Barramundi’ or the Flake which I went for. The flake was very soft and the batter was excellent. I went for the side of salad and chips which was a huge serving for $19.50. I finished all the fish and salad but couldn’t finish the very generous (and very tasty) chippies.

This is a casual dining restaurant with a nice dining area inside or they offer take-away meals too. A big thumbs up to the excellent fish and chips at Fishpoint!
