All style at Hilton Hotel Pattaya Thailand
I really like the Hilton brand of hotels. I have stayed at Hilton Hotels in Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Adelaide, Singapore, Tokyo and Bangkok and all give a great level of service, comfortable rooms and a good choice of shops, restaurants and bars within the hotels. I had been to Pattaya before but didn’t stay at the Hilton as didn’t know they had a hotel in Pattaya. I had gone past the Hilton Hotel in Pattaya a few times and saw the very impressive building with balconies out the front with views of the ocean. I was returning to Pattaya and booked in for 2 nights to experience the Hilton Hotel in Pattaya.
I was so impressed with everything about this Hilton Hotel in Pattaya. The staff greeted me as I got out of the car at the front reception. They took me up to the executive lounge to check in and they advised that they had upgraded me to an Executive Plus suite. (Loyalty does pay!). I got up to the room and it was huge. A large King sized bed right in the middle of the room looking straight out over the sea.
I walked out onto the balcony to see the amazing view up and down Beach Road traveling north and south through Pattaya.
On the balcony was a huge bathtub which had hot and cold water. I ended up taking a night warm bath in the evening, drinking a cold beer and looking out over the night skyline of Pattaya.
There are a few restaurants within the Hilton Hotel Pattaya though I didn’t get to eat at these. Flare Restaurant looks great, serving up traditional Thai cuisine. I did visit the Horizon Bar on the top level of the Hilton. Horizon Bar must be the best bar in Pattaya with the best view (check out our article about classy bars in Pattaya).
The best time to get to Horizon Bar is late afternoon just before sunset to watch the sun setting over the horizon. The Horizon Bar has a snack menu serving up some small dishes to enjoy some food while sipping on your cocktail or cold beer. They also have a full dining menu with private dining tables inside with views out over Pattaya.
There are 2 other bars in the Hilton Hotel, both on level 16, the same level as the Reception Area. Drift Bar is located right at the front of the Hilton Hotel with views over the water. Drift Bar has very cool large lounges surrounded by a pond. There is also Shore Bar which is the poolside bar next to the infinity swimming pool.
Directly below the Hilton Hotel is the Central Festival Shopping Mall which is the largest shopping mall in Pattaya with 6 floors of specialty shops and heaps of restaurants. The restaurants are dominated by Japanese Restaurants as well as some traditional Thai Restaurants, Thai Hotpot restaurants, a Korean Restaurant and a really good Lebanese Restaurant right at the front with impressive views over Pattaya. There is an elevator on Level 16 of the Hilton Hotel that takes you directly down to the Central Festival Shopping Mall.
Room prices are not cheap at the Hilton Hotel Pattaya. Depending on the season, time of year and if it is a weekend stay, room prices can start from 5760 Thai Baht (around US$175 per night).
You can make a reservation direct via the Hilton Hotel Pattaya website or often Agoda have discounted room prices.
