Big Buddha Hua Hin

Located just a few minutes drive through some fields from Wat Huay Mongkol, you will find the biggest Buddha statue in Hua Hin, which hardly anyone goes and visits. While there are bus loads of tourists at Wat Huay Mongol, just go that extra mile and you’ll likely have this very large Buddhist complex to yourself.

From Hua Hin it is a fair hike to go visit this Big Buddha and Wat Huay Mongkol, as they ar located more than 25Kms out of Hua Hin town in a very rural area. There is no entrance fee to go visit the Big Buddha in Hua Hin.

There are also some large standing Buddha statues in Hua Hin. At the base of the head land, right at the southern end of Hua Hin beach, this is a standing Buddha looking out to see, at the base of Wat Khao Takiab.

Also in the hills north of Hua Hin, there is Wat Khao Noi with the largest standing Buddha and awesome views back down over Hua Hin.
