Best Steak Restaurants in Sukhumvit Bangkok

There are some excellent steak houses in Bangkok, serving up high quality imported beef from Australia, US and Japan. Now steak reestaurants in Bangkok are not cheap! The restaurants listed on this page are charging international prices so you are looking at spending over 1000 Thb for a nice steak, some are charging way more than that.

So here are the best steakhouses in the Sukhumvit area of Bangkok:

El Gaucho Argentinian Steakhouse

El Gaucho is my favourite steak restaurant in Bangkok. There are a few locations in Bangkok but I prefer the one of Soi 11 Sukhumvit, inside the Mercure Hotel, right in the heart of Sukhumvit area. This is a classy steak restaurant. The Sth Americans really know how to cook good steak!

El Gaucho import their beef from the US and Australia. They only use USDA Prime beef and top quality Australian beef. New York Steakhouse

The New York Steakhouse is located within the 5 star JW Marriott Hotel in Sukhumvit, just down from Soi 4. This is a 5 star restaurant so prices reflect the same, (EXPENSIVE) but I had an awesome meal here, top quality steaks. I think I paid more than A$120 for my meal but was very impressed.

New York Steakhouse are importing the best cuts of meat from Australia, Japan, New Zealand, and the United States. They are providing top quality steaks, within an impressive dining room and the service is what you would expect within a 5 star hotel. I highly recommend an expensive meal at the New York Steakhouse.

RR&B Steakhouse

RR&B Steakhouse (Rib Room and Bar) is an awesome, fine-dining steak restaurant located on Level 31 (top floor) of the fancy Landmark Bangkok Hotel. As well as an awesome steakhouse, this restaurant has a fantastic view over the Bangkok skyline, a perfect backdrop for an excellent meal. Cheap Charlies look away! Nothing for you to see here – steaks start at 1400++ Thb (around US$38 or A$60++).

The view is one of the best reasons to come to this restaurant but the food is also world class. Another great steak restaurant in the heart of Bangkok’s Sukhumvit area.

El Toro House of Meat Steak House

El Toro House of Meat Steak House is located further down Sukhumvit Road close to Soi 29, half way between Asok BTS Station and Phrom Phong BTS Station. This is a classic Brazilian Churrascaria or Argentinian Steak House. They import top quality beef from Australia, New Zealand, USA and Argentina.
