Breakfast at Charlie’s Cafe and Bar Surfers Paradise

Charlie’s Cafe and Bar is a great bar/cafe/restaurant located right in the heart of Surfers Paradise, in the Cavill Mall, just a few hundred meters from the beach. As well as a busy lunch time venue and drinks/dinner in the evening. Charlies is also open every morning serving up breakfast and great coffee.

Their breakfast menu has a huge selection of breakfast goodies, including Eggs Benedict ($20.90), Smashed Avacado ($20.90), a big Boss Roll ($15.90) with fried egg, bacon, beef sausage, hashbrown on a toasted bun, A Big Breakfast fry up ($20.90) and simple Bacon and Eggs ($15.90). I had the classic Bacon and Eggs which was quite a good sized serving. Filled me and I was very satisfied.

There are tables and chairs inside or there many more out the front of the restaurant but all under cover to shade you from the sun or the rain. Out the front has some excellent people watching, with the hords of people walking thru Caville Mall to and from the beach.
