Korilla Korean BBQ is an awesome restaurant located on Queen Street Mall in the heart of Brisbane City CBD. A large restaurant located upstairs, with dining tables all with built in BBQs. These are traditional coal BBQs and not just the gas BBQ. Above each table is a smoke extraction unit. These coal BBQ gives a great smokey BBQ flavour to the selection of meat, seafood and vegetables available on the menu.

I spent 5 days in Brisbane, went in for dinner here and it was the best meal I had the whole time in Brisbane. Not just is the food good quality, this is a unique dining experience, cooking your own BBQ at the tables. This place is very popular. I went in on a Wednesday night and the restaurant was packed. I had to take a seat at the front of the restaurant and wait about 10 minutes before I got a table. Not too much of a wait. I would recommend to make a reservation, especially if you going in for dinner Thursday, Friday or Saturday night.

One of the cool things about Korean restaurants are all the little side dishes they give you as soon as you sit down. Even while you are cooking on the BBQ you got these side dishes of Kimchi and pickles to munch on until your BBQ is ready.
